Moonlight

PROMPT: [#5] After you crawl back to the surface, draw your character in the woods under the moon’s light, in shades of black, gray, and blue, except for the moon and stars themselves. (Boss battle)

After climbing up the skeletal stairs, Istornim took a hold of Viiris and gave him a push up to the surface, where the blond took out his rope and let it fall down for his partner to grasp. It is thanks to their teamwork, that they made their way back up the, by now, dark environment. As the two didn't struggle seeing in complete, non-magical darkness, it added not much to their struggle. Their heavier breath was heard when they could finally catch a brief break.

The taller dark elf stretched his back and gazed up the bright moon light to observe its unusual beauty this evening. Viiris on the other hand was merely complaining. "That cursed monster! ... Pushing us down into the well like that ... It should have been the first to fall! ..." He hissed through his teeth. "Istornim, have you marked it?! We should be able to stop its advancement it if we're quick about it."

There was no response yet. When the blond finished up fixing his hair back in style, he gazed over to Istornim whose red eyes looked down from the sky to his partner with a smile. "This is the first time we're together under a full moon, a memory to treasure." Viiris' gaze grows distant. "W—What?" The smaller elf pouts and turns his head away, when a familiar heat made itself known on his cheeks. "... Is that so ..."
