Escape from the old well

The both of them were hurled into the water, as soon as the creature managed to get a grip on their bodies with their power. The dark elf was quick to hold onto the blond and wrapped his arms around him as they made the fall. Skillfully, he broke their fall on multiple occasions by the use of his ability. With the damage removed from the fall through healing, they gathered themselves off the ground.

Now standing in the remains of the old, smelly water, they were surrounded by a surprising amount of skeletal remains. Whoever made use of the well had other purposes for it, rather than using it to store and extract water from. Or perhaps a couple of foolish travelers somehow lost their balance during their travel. Little does it matter, for their bodies will be used to construct a skeletal staircase that will close them into their exit. Performed by the art of necromancy, a forbidden magic.
