His adventures led him to a curious ruin in the depths of a dark forest. Pushing through the thick foliage, Samir winced as bright light enveloped him. His eyes adjusted as it took in the sight before him. Light streamed from above the clearing hitting the well worn stone face of a monstrosity. Its piercing gaze looked at Samir accusingly. Its maw was open wide, hungry for new adventurers to plunder its cavernous secrets. What awaited Samir in the depths of the dark forest temple?
He took a step in and felt the air rippling. The whole world spun around him even though he swore he was standing still. Whispers clawed at his ears trying to find purchase in his brain. Frantically, Samir looked for the source of the whispers but this only made his nausea worse. His knees buckled as he held his head in his hands. Images of deep dark voids seemed to invade is mind's eye. Strange ruins peppered with undecipherable runes dotted his vision. Lurid images of undulating tentacles flashed before him. Eventually the spinning subsided and the strange indecipherable whispers were gone.
He looked up to find himself before a country estate. A witch's house. How did he know that? And somehow his legs knew to rise up and start shambling towards it. Flashes of self awareness momentarily compelled him to halt and resist but those were quickly trumped by another's motives. Trapped in the thrall of some unknown being, he made his way towards the house.

The one nitpick I have about this is that the upper left brow seems to end a bit early in a way that doesn't seem intentional - although the doorway is clearly cracked and weathered, the face doesn't seem to be missing any large chunks that would make it asymmetrical like the brow. Very minor detail though, it took a minute to notice.
And I do think you did a really great job with the face! It really is so expressive and draws you right into its gaping maw!
And the writing is also very nice It does a great job of putting you into Samir's perspective, which gets the feeling of dread stirring while also giving insights into his character. It gives me the impression he's an explorer, now taken by some creepy eldritch force.
very good illustration very cool
Sorry, I'm not good with right and left. Do you mean the brow on the faces left? (The viewer's right) If so, I think I suppose I got tired of shading so it does not match. I see that it looks protruding. Part of me wants the face asymmetrical because I find that interesting. I can go in and change it up a bit.
