Shingen doesn't consider himself attractive. In his original homeworld, demons are shunned by humans and scary looking. Surprisingly, this doesn't happen in the Paperverse. In fact, he's garnered a few fans of his looks in the process.
I guess he has enough fans of his look from RPs anyways.
