When news spread that an orb in Aridin was in dire condition, people went into a panic. Cracks had formed along the surface, and the possibility of its destruction had never been considered until now. The thought was horrifying, and dangerous theoretical scenarios caused chaos amonst the crowds in Decra. When both Suave and Finley arrived at the scene, they decided to take matters into their own hands.
Two teams. The first, a repair team to keep the orb from shattering. Composed of water elementalists - Finley and Myre - the two of them would bind the flow of water in the temple around the orb, keeping it constricted. At the bottom was Plum, who worked tirelessly to carve magical sunlight runes into the base of the temple. Protection magic, both for the orb... and themselves.
The other team? Well, that was Suave's choice where they ventured. Finley suggested underground as a source for their issues, as below the city was a complex maze of rootways that housed many secrets. But with secrets untold came with a threat of dangers unheard.
Finley just hoped they'd solve this problem soon. They couldn't hold this powerful artifact at bay forever...

Yahoo! My first quest! So happy to have had the chance to take part in this one! I was worried that I wouldn't get the chance when working on my OCL piece, but I managed. As usual, I'm wanting to draw my boy with my friend's wonderful characters, all going on their first big adventure! ........I'm not sure how this works out timeline-wise, but listen that can be figured out later.

I still love the entire composition of this piece. The water effects work so well to draw the eye to the orb and to the characters!
Plus the entire blue hue over everything with that pop of contrast works so hella well!
