Rage

Rage covers the eyes with a red veil. Blood seethes in the veins like hot lava. Sharp teeth bared in an angry grin, and the paw is already reaching for the ax handle. Like a wildfire, chaotic and dangerous, anger engulfs your entire body. You can no longer control yourself. You just want to quickly and fatally deal with all the causes of your indignation.

It seems to me that the first time Tipp became aware of his element was when it literally covered his entire body during another outburst of anger. Fire is hard to control, especially when you can't control your emotions. For this reason, Tipp set fire to many things around him for a long time, during violent outbursts.
