Astra the helper: A snake... girl?

Astra is walking through the Evergreen Forest where nature elves live and as she walks, she stumbles upon a young nagas (half snake, half human) girl who has bruises and burns on her hands and around her mouth. “Oh no…” Astra whispered to herself as she walked up to the girl. As she walks towards her she hears some coughing “Little girl!” she yells out “Are you okay?” she says as she kneels near her, “c-can you *cough* h-help me…” the young nagas was able to spout out “your gonna be okay you hear me” Astra says worriedly as she quickly grabs some bandages and a healing ointment. With a dry and shaky voice, the nagas ask “Wh-who are you..?” Astra responds, "I’m Astravera but just Astra and I’m here to help so just hang in there!” As the young nagas relaxes and closes her eyes in Astra’s arms, Astra applies the ointment and puts bandanas around her wounded areas. After a few minutes, the nagas started to feel better and sat up to find Astra sitting next to her “Your Astravera right, my eyes were a little fuzzy so I couldn't tell who was treating me” The nagas said “Yep! And I have a few questions for you, first, what's your name?”

 

“Oh my name is Lin Slitherin, I was trying to practice my magic out here where it’s quiet and no one is around to bother me but I see that backfired…”

 

Astra responded with a chuckle “Haha, well do you need any help?”

 

“W-What? You help me, why?” Lin questions her.

 

She looks at her confused “Because I want to or do you want to lay here again unconscious, I'm helping because I can and because I will.” Lin looks at her surprised but with hopefulness in her eyes “You're the first person ever to want to help me willingly” She looks at her happily, and she sits up her tail wagging and ready to start training properly.

In a fighting stand, Astra with her fist up ignited with her flames and a determined look “You ready Lin?” 

 

Lin, in her stands “I was born ready!” She starts charging toward Astra before she swiftly dodges her tackle then suddenly Astra’s left leg is grabbed by Lin’s tail getting wrapped around her, she is picked up and thrown towards a tree but she lands safely and jumps down “Wow you have some skill, where did you learn that?” Lin takes a breather before standing up again “Oh um… I just watched a dojo from outside and tried it out here.” she chuckles

Astra gets back into her stands igniting her fist once more “One fiery punch coming right up!” She throws a flame-filled fast one at Lin almost struggling to dodge it, the nagas falls on the ground stunned and in a daze “W-Woah… your fist are fast and your able to maintain your fire without letting it spread and not burning yourself, so cool!” Astra chuckles “I’ll teach you a few thing next time, for now lets grab a snack at the nearby tow ‘kay?” Lin gets up and dust herself off “Yeah I’d like that…”
