Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Tears roll down her pale cheeks. They are cold and tickle as they trickle down. They drip off the bottom of her jaw as she stares at the mangled remains of what she loved. He was now a shell of what once was. The day they met, it was Christmas. They stayed together and celebrated in the warm house. They were inseparable. He began to get older, and sick as time went on. She ignored the signs in denial that he would ever stop living. But one day, he did. He just stopped. The doctor said there was no cure, she trusted him. The doctor tore him apart. Now all she has is the mangled remains of the one she loved.
