“September 11, 2001”

While sorrow crosses over our nation

Lives slip away

Fear in all eyes

Almost 3,000 lost

Hatred in all souls escape

As it rises to the surface

The darker our thoughts appear

Twins fall to the ground

Crumble in pieces as they go down

Running franticly as clouds of debris follow

Covering the streets and all in path

Tears fall down over lost loved ones

Faces covered in ashes and blood

People falling from the buildings

People trapped inside with no way to go

People being crushed as it fall

Each one after the other

Bow your head in respect for this day as you pray

For this day is drenched with sorrow and mourning
