(Oh, the Noesis series lasted an, amazing, one chapter! Buh, I need a better attention span. >< Either way, it's Christmas time, and in that case, it's time to show off the seasonal fangirl in me. Therefore…I'm writing a chrismasy Gackt/Goku loving story. …so…there! >< This chapter is just basically going to be used for background. No action in this one!)

The evening lights, coloring the night's busy avenues down the streets, brings back memories of you.

Gackt grunted as he shifted his weight to the other leg, his arms full of toys. He shifted a great deal of the toys to one arm and pulled out his cell phone. He flipped open the device to check the time. Ten o' clock. Shit. Goku would be pissed. He sighed and put his cell phone back in his pocket and tried to check how the line was doing. Three years since the two had been separated. It still felt foreign to Gackt knowing that he wouldn't be the one the kids jumped on to open presents five in the morning. Rather, they'd just stop by his house at about three in the after noon, bouncing around with their new toys and whatnot all ready. However, Gackt was a good father, always paying Goku child support, sometimes even over the limit, and always picking the kids up on the weekends he was home. Despite their young age, the kids seemed to understand daddy's line of work was demanding.

Gackt sighed and looked around, seeing the rushing couples trying to get the last minute things for their children. He was smart; he had done most of his shopping online and in the earlier months. However, kids do change their minds, and thusly he felt obligated to go out and get them those last minute toys. He looked over the varying toys with a soft smile, thinking of how each toy related to his four darling babies: Sho, Juana, Yashi, and Maria. He sighed contently just before his cell phone vibrated. Most likely Goku. The two, despite the separation, always had dinner with the kids during the week of Christmas. It made them think they were all still a family again.

Gackt grunted and pulled out his cell phone, still balancing the cell phone. “Moshi-mosh?” he murmured, his eyes scowling behind dark shades.

“Where are you!?” Goku squeaked over the phone. “Are you dead?”

Gackt gave an irritated sigh. “Goku, the line here is murder. I can only go so fast.” He looked over his pile of toys and gave a relieved sigh to know he was next. “Listen, I'll be t here soon, okay?” He cooed, trying to settle down Goku. A soft smile came to his face as he cradled the phone more delicately, his heart fluttering. “What are you doing, right now?” he murmured, his voice deep.

Goku shuffled through his papers of Christmas lists from the kids, trying to hide the blushing smile Gackt's question caused. “Nothing, just making sure everything's okay. I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve.” Goku grumbled. He heard a soft shuffle on the other line, apparently Gackt nodded.

“Hai, it did rush by so fast.” He murmured. “But, either way, we're all ready, right?” He heard the same nodding shuffle from Goku's end.

“Yup, we've got everything sorted. Right now, we're just waiting for you to come over.” He grunted, clearly teasing.

Gackt sighed in utter relief as he walked up to the register and set all of the toys down, shoving his now free hand in his pocket to grab his wallet. “Well, I'll be home soon.” He cooed, as though the two were still married.

Goku stiffened softly, his eyes lowering. “…Camui…” he whispered. “Don't talk like that.”

Gackt's eyes softened as he bit his lip. “…Gomen.” He whispered and closed the phone with out another word.

Gackt gently turned the wheel and slid into Goku's driveway. He looked at the quaint house, smiling softly as he saw his son sitting in the window, excitedly. He turned the engine off and stepped out, his leather boots crunching the snow beneath his feet. The gleam of the Christmas lights bounced off of Gackt's leather pants and jacket, a tight tee shirt of a skull beneath that. His fingers, adorned with all of his children's favorite rings, pulled into a fist as if to warn off the coldness that nipped at them. He closed the car door, smiling widely at his son's now gone silhouette.

The front door burst open and a small boy in his pajamas rushed out to his dad.

“Daddy!”

Gackt laughed and picked the boy up, holding him tightly as though to keep the frail body warm. Five year old Sho was a spitting image of Gackt: his black hair, his skin tone, nose, lips, cheekbones, eyes, everything. The only variation of Gackt Sho had were those piercing blue eyes, which Gackt was positive he received from Goku's super saijin form. Sho shivered against his father's chest, but still smiled up at the man. “Daddy, I thought you weren't coming!” Gackt smiled and winked as he began walking into the house. “No, no, I'm here. I just had to talk to Santa a little bit before I came here.” He laughed.

Sho gasped as his eyes widened. “Santa!? You know Santa, daddy?” he asked. Gackt looked at the boy as though he was crazy, smiling. “I'm Camui Gackt! I know everyone!” he laughed. He looked down with a broad smile once he felt a gentle tugging. He knelled down and captured his first daughter into a gentle embrace. Three-year-old Juana smiled and nuzzled her face with her daddy's, immediately playing with his rings. Just like the other two baby girls, Juana had Gackt's heart in her hand, with her chin-level black hair, bright brown eyes, and that smile that was unmistakably Goku's. The girl could melt him.

Gackt smiled contently as he kissed her forehead. “Hi, baby.” He cooed. He looked around, as Sho pulled off his daddy's sunglasses and put them on his own face. “Where's Mommy, Yashi, and Maria?” he asked the two. Sho turned and pointed to the hallway that led to Goku's room. Oh, Gackt was very acquainted with that hallway. He set the other two down as he stood, making his way to see his other two babies.

Goku hummed softly as he leaned over a large crib, the one where both girls slept. They lay nestled together, purring softly to each other. Yashi was adopted from China, Goku's home country. It was simply heart breaking how she was found, in a dumpster with a brown shack for clothes. Goku was so used to seeing it, however Gackt burst into tears right on the spot. Since then, Gackt was always so protective of the child, always seemingly fighting with his deep distrust of other Chinese men. He couldn't help the bias after what he had seen. However, from what Goku figured, the little bit of racism was over, and Gackt looked amongst his Asian brethren with kindness once more.

Maria, however, was a newborn. She was born about five months ago, out of any type of relationship. It was rather painful for both of them to think of her being conceived. One night, both were lonely. They couldn't explain it, but they immediately went to each other, satisfying all those urges and desires that had been locked away for over two years. Alas, the night was over, and reality hit. Goku refused to have a relationship with Gackt, despite how much the singer begged, and Goku was gone. It wasn't long until Gackt got a call from a sobbing Goku, telling the other he was pregnant. They decided to keep it, not wanting to waste or destroy life. But it was rather painful for both of them, nonetheless.

Gackt smiled warmly as he entered the room, immediately going to look into the crib. Goku looked over at Gackt and smiled softly, looking back at the two babies. The two remained silent, until they heard Sho call for them in the living room.

“Mommy! Daddy! Can we open just ONE present!?

“Pleeeease!” Juana chimed in.

Goku smiled as he looked over at Gackt, as though to get his word on it. Gackt looked up at Goku and laughed softly. He looked back and saw the two standing at the end of the hallway, looking at the two hopefully. Gackt sent them into cheers as he nodded. Goku started towards the living room. “Oh boy.” He laughed softly. Gackt looked back at his babies. He stayed for just a few more moments before Sho and Juana called for him again. He leaned down and placed affectionate kisses on both their cheeks, making his way to see his divorced lover and two children.
