Love's Shadow: Chapter 1

We argued and fought with words and fussed,
We screamed and yelled and sometimes cussed,
You'd cry Id cry and we'd both turn away,
But we came to apologize just on the same day,
We broke with a sigh a feeling of guilt,
And we'd spend a whole nyte under the stars staring still,
And through weeks we'd be fine still giving our all,
Staying awake late at nyte knowing that you'd soon call,
Then some little mishap, a lie, or mistake,
And we're back where we started showing each other hate,
But we know deep inside we want to give this a try,
But when we both fight we lose ourselves in our eyes,
I don't wanna drift, or fade in your heart,
Cuz I love you too much to let this fall apart,
I love to need you and need you to love,
A smile with a kiss then a kiss with a hug... I love you...
