Sailing Away: Chapter 1

Her ship was sailing and I was late,
I rushed out to see her no time to waste,
At the docks to see that she was gone,
I didnt say goodbye so I sang her a song,
Hopefully she will hear it and come back to me,
To tell the captain of the ship that she has to leave,
The ship took into the sunset like an angel to the clouds,
Mai song faded into it and then there was no sound,
Only I was left standing by the ocean docks,
Mai body left the ocean but mai soul stood there locked,
Eyes staring at the place she just left,
The trinket she gave me which I still had kept,
I wish I was a bird and then to her I could fly,
But Im a heartbroken man with just tears his eyes.
