The Fallen Soldiers: Chapter 1

We are the last of four soldiers,
And we continue to fight,
We fight for our nation,
Our freedom and rights,
I look around the battlefield,
To see mai comrades fall,
I shall soon be the last one standing,
The one who'll be standing tall.
The first soldier to fall
Calls out to his love,
A tear falls from his eyes,
As he drops in the mud,
The second soldier cries,
These sunofabitches must pay,
He gets shot in the gut,
And he kneels down to pray,
He says Oh Lord,
Let me see her one more,
For I have a little daughter,
I promised to take to the store,
I promised her this and promised her that,
To be there on her birthday,
And buy her a hat,
So tell her that I love her,
But I aint coming home,
Tell her daddy's away,
And needs time alone.
He drops to the ground and lies there so still,
I hear the third soldier fall,
As the enemy moves in for the kill,
I hear him call to his girlfreind,
His family and friends,
I fought bravely for mai country,
But now its the end,
He said God tell them I love them,
There is nothing more,
Tell them all I wanted was peace,
No choice but to fight in the war,
Tell them I did it for them,
And they can thank me in heaven,
But I think I'll go to sleep now,
It ten past eleven.
Im the last one of four,
And the battle is done,
The last of the enemy has fallen,
And now there are none,
I look all around me,
To see the horror of death,
The ground is full of bodies,
And the soil is all red.
I look to mai cross,
And theres a pain in mai chest,
A bullet has struck me,
And gone right through the vest,
I fall to mai knees,
And mai lyfe flashes before mai eyes,
I think of those I care about,
And then I start to cry,
And with mai last breath,
I pray to God to be saved,
And that the world shall have peace,
And unite together one day.
