Y HALO THAR.

The name's Zri.  =]  And it's always nice to meet other people who share in a passion for the fine arts, so that's why I've decided to post a few of my literary works here.  (Granted they're not perfect, but bring me someone who says their work is perfect and I'll show you an amateur.)  I'm more than happy to be here to support my fellow writers and artists, and I look forward to helping in anyway that I can to those who seek assistance.  (Granted if you ask me to critique artwork, you may or may not get lucky there, seeing as how I know next to nothing about artwork as a profession as much as a hobby.  ^^; )

In any case, don't be shy about tearing my work apart with your criticism.  Your advice is what's going to help me get better, and I don't want the years I've spent trying to hone my skill to be in vain.  =)  And if so desired, I'm more than happy to return the favor and help you out with your writing.  That's the path of the fine arts; we all only go somewhere if we support one another.

As for personal stuff, I don't really think that has anything to do with my artistic caliber but...let's see...

I love music. Alongside writing, drawing, and studying I practically breathe it to get through the day. I love just about any kind of music, classical, pop, techno, rock, bluegrass, new age, celtic and renaissance, (I'll make an indication here that I am of proud Irish descent.  8D) Indian and Middle Eastern, trance (...LMFAO), even some emo and rap, if it's not entirely contrived feeling.

Oooh! I may not watch TV much anymore... But I do watch occasionally because I enjoy cartoons.  Personally, I don't feel obligated to watch "more mature programming" to fit adult expectations if watching cartoons is something I enjoy, and frankly I don't see why anyone cares if it doesn't harm anything.

My particular favorites are shows I think are either well written, or just have a heartfelt charm to them: The Simpsons, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Spaceghost: Coast to Coast, Cartoon Planet, The Brak Show, Invader Zim, Family Guy, Freakazoid, Animaniacs, the first season of Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Bonus Stage (Yes webtoons count here. >>), High Score, The early seasons of Codename: Kids Next Door, The early seasons of Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and I'll occasionally watch South Park and Drawn Together.
