A wild stryx, Borealis inhabits the rural regions. A fearsome mother, she has raised many a brood. Most of her chicks survive to adulthood thanks to her vigilant watchfulness. Pity on any soul who threatens her children. Though most stryx are capable only of squawks and screeches, Borealis is among the few gifted with the ability of speech, a feat she employs sparingly. She doesn't like the company of the two-leggeds. She just wants to be left alone.
