Ok , you'll have to explain what those words mean, i speak english very well but they are always new word to be learned, like those two!. I'll be able to better comment this "lumps and spazzoids" caracters of yurs!
Oh, I'm sorry sweety! When I say "lumps" I mean that the characters have lump-like personalities. They sort of just sit there and act bored and apathetic. Like they just don't care. Spazzoid is a word I made up. Root word: Spazz. Which means something like "to totally freak out, often in a loud and obnoxious way involving much flailing of limbs." Shyam is a spazzoid because, if you bother him, he just cuts your hand off quite randomly. Hope that makes sense.
What nationality are you, then, if not English/American? You DO speak very good English for it being a second language!
Ah, thanks , yes it is more clearer now! For me a lump is like a little...bumps if i may say,i was pretty sure that you didn't mean to say that yur caracters were full of bumps Remind me not to bother Shyam too much... Im from Québec in Canada, so i speak french. But not France french, its similar but we do not talk it the same way and with the same accent. Its a bit like, USA english and England english! And thanks!
Yeah, there's slang and then there's normal language. In slang, a lump is someone who A. has no emotion, or B. does nothing with themselves.
Québec, tu dis? Je parle le français aussi! I speak France French, though, since that's what they teach you in school. They also teach you utterly pointless things like "La vache est morte." I can also say "I have the Spanish plague" six different ways. I probably couldn't hold a normal conversation.
Cela me fait beaucoup sourire quand je vois des gens qui parle francais, its my first language and it's very close to my heart. Everyone who makes the effort of learning this complicated language is my personnal hero ! lol...you right, sometimes they do teach us pointless thing, or forget to teach what is also important. Like in spanish, i know how to make phrases but no vocabulary...go figure! Merci pour ces petits mots dans ma langue!
Lol, i've been speaking it for 25 years and still i can't write it ok!!! I don't understand why they had to complicate it this much. Ah mais les francais, ils ont été jadis la puissance mondiale, alors ils voulaient que leur langue reflète cet état de chose. Maintenant c'est nous qui sommes pris avec une langue trop compliquer a apprendre, a écrire surtout!
Oh no , dont feel stupid, by the way you wrote yur last phrase in french i got the impression that you spoke it well...Im so sorry about that Saikono Kume. I was saying, that once the french used to be the might of the world, so they made their language complicated to write so that it could be like them. A reflection of their "might" . Today it is us who have to write the language and it is not ans easy task. Sorry again. Je m'excuse!!!!!
I can write well, but I have only a very limited grasp of French at large. I had an idea of what you said, but I was like "wait... No, I could be wrong. But no, I could be right. Wait, no." And then I ripped out my hair.
Could you do me a favor? I'm writing an essay for my French class and can't, for the life of me, figure out how to say this one phrase. It's "If a person does not know what is worth dying for, then he does not know what is worth living for." Could tell me how to translate this?
I have the same problem than you in spanish...And the teacher always speaks in spanish, sometimes im like, am i the only one who did not understand that!!! :ponder: Ok about that phrase here goes: Si une personne ne sait pas ce qui mérite son sacrifice , alors elle ne sait pas ce qui mérite d'être vécue. I didn't do a word by word translation but meaning by meaning. This is what i would have said in french. Tell me how it turned out!

I'm the same way--I can form a lot of sentences, but my vocabularly is very, very limited.
