I like how immersive the atmosphere of your drawing is, how impressive the lighting is , very nicely done work!
It looks like portal redirecting is not an easy task, dangerous even, the characters' poses and Mallow's expression seem to hint at that. I like the doubling effect on the characters' hands, it makes me think how the task the characters are doing affects the very fabric of reality they are in.

Yeah, Mallow and Aura taking on reorienting a portal is... Well, vexing to say the least, Mallow has a better handle on it than Aura does. While she's trying to teach him, she realizes he's not really familiar with the trickery of portal warping and whatever else comes with it. I super duper appreciate the comment, it's very insightful <3 Brightened my night a bit

After getting more context from you, Mallow's expression makes even more sense, I can see the reflection of this realization in it.
