Thank you! To be absolutely honest, the metal texture was pure luck! It might be the light tho! But basically did draw the blade in the bluish colors and then made an overlay with a speckle brush in a very bright, almost white color :3
It's the sharp edge in the center of the blade with the gradient shading next to it in high contrast that makes it look metallic. Intentional or not, you did a great job.
