To be absolutely honest, the metal texture was pure luck! It might be the light tho! But basically did draw the blade in the bluish colors and then made an overlay with a speckle brush in a very bright, almost white color :3

It's the sharp edge in the center of the blade with the gradient shading next to it in high contrast that makes it look metallic. Intentional or not, you did a great job. Smile
