Flight of the Kag

Prompt: Kags Rays

    Antal had been curious about the mushroom forest. He had heard interesting things about it and only really gotten second hand testimonials about the mushroom forest. There was a problem though; it was way too dense and there were parts of it that were extremely dark. The kind of dark even his light couldn't pierce.

      As he made his way back to civilization, there was a group of people that had hiking gear, and binoculars. When asked were they were going, the group pretty quickly told him the Kag were flying around  and they couldn't stay and chat. He was about to lose hope as they left when a little black mushroom suddenly moved. It moved a little in his direction, and then became still. It came closer, and stopped again. The half-elf put his hand on his sword hilt not sure what to do, and held his breath without thinking about it. The black mushroom came right to his feet, as his sword was slowly lifting out of it's sheath.

       "Who are you?", the mushroom lifted itself and revealed a tiny feminine humanoid figure underneath the relatively giant mushroom hat to the size of the body. Antal relaxed, his sword sliding back into the sheath. He introduced himself, and asked her about the Kag. The tiny fairy told him about a bit more about the the Kag Rays. "Would you be able to show me the path to see them? I'm a little lost here, this being my first time I'm seeing this.", his question was meet with a very quick response. "Only of you let me sit in your head, buy me some food, and avoid large groups. I don't like them." , she had a mischievous look in her face, "deal?" Mycelia held out her tiny hand to Antal who suddenly felt giant as his shadow just loomed over her.

         "Sure?", Antal delicately offered his hand in case he knock her over. The fairy shook two of his fingers vigorously, and then then did the 'uppies' motion to him. The half-elf gingerly picked her up and out her on his head and she gave him directions as they traveled. During their travels, Mycelia did kick her legs and 'accidentally' hit him a few times on the forehead in the moments he went the wrong way. He didn't appreciate that very much, to which she laughed at him. Other than that, travel was relatively easy with direction being given to him.
