Excerpt from Penny's journal: To be fair, I was warned that something strange was happening in Lyra. I was not warned that the certain something strange would be a crystal wyrm! No one needs a crystal ball to tell them that that was no good. So since I kinda got caught in the middle of things (it cannonballed out of the sky there was no avoiding it) I ended up trying to help. Trying is the keyword there. Some guys got together and made a plan to stake some ropes down and when the wyrm comes barreling through it would get caught in the ropes. That would slow it down so some warriors and crazy people could cause some damage. Crystal clear plan and I was on board with it. There wasn't a lot of rope so I used my earth magic to make a vine, but I didn't stake it down and guess when the wyrm came? And guess where the vine just happened to get caught? it got stuck on the spike of the flashy sky snake! I got all shaken around like a rattle toy and tossed a good fifty yards! Good news; I am not hurt. badly. The eejit that made the plan said the dumest thing I had ever heard when I got back. Quote: Well that didn't go according to plan. ... YEAH NO KIDDING! >:(
