Ukiyo Shamisen

A modest shamisen and its bachi. Finely crafted and passed down through several generations, its current owner is Miyavi Momotaro. This instrument is his voice and expression, since Miyavi finds verbal communication displeasing. It's closely attuned to the owner's spirit, similar to a permanent binding. It's the singular most important item he possesses.
Only the owner may draw out its magical properties when playing.

The shamisen may either be tethered to a belt or hidden until summoned.

Only once the owner dies or gives up their spirit will the instrument be able to seek out its next owner- No random individual is able to claim it unless the shamisen desires it to be.
