Penny always knew she could move the earth with her hands, but she was shocked to realize she could do it magically too. No one taught her how to use her magic, no one in her family had ever tried using theirs, so she had to teach herself. Her latent earth element one day revealed itself when she picked up a pumpkin leaf and it turned golden yellow. Suprised, she dropped the leaf and it floated to the ground. Almost as if an unseen hand had thrown it, a chunk of earth flew up into the sky and stayed there until the leaf faded back to its original green. With patience and a burning curiosity, Penny explored her newfound power. She was not limited to simply thowing the earth; she could form it into various shapes, change the speed at which it moved, and if she focused intently she could pull objects like buried coins or uncut semi-precious gems out of the ground. Penny knew she was not finished learning about her power, she would patiently develop it as time marched on, but what she did know about it she could use to her advantage. And in her opinion, there was a lot of fun to be had jumping from one earth block to another.
