Eyes of Darkness

Well here it is.  I messed around with a few things on this one, and I am pretty darn happy with how it came out!! :D  Please, anything major you see wrong, do tell.

And the whole crooked window and crooked door, is supposed to show how everything is pressing down on her and nothing seems right anymore.  She is losing it, and she knows it.    She is supposed to look kind of deathly and sick.  I think I pulled that off quiet well.  Well...
I just plain like it!!  My mom said the boy freaked her out.  lol

Oh and I have both the high resolution and low resolution of this one, and decided to post the low resolution.   So yeah.  :D

A few thoughts- She has uneasyness and depressed and stuff, right? Why is she like this? That needs to be promenant, and obvious to figure out, unless she isn't sure herself. At the moment, there is 3 ideas on the page, and none is dominent enought to be the subject. I mean, her head is large enough to be the subject, but she's sad and gaunt, and we don't know why. If she needs to be freaked out, then I suggest a freaked out look, and her looking at what she's freaked out at- establising a relationship. if this boy is related, then he should be more obvious. Using the elements you have here, I'd give the pic a spinning feel, with her clamped up in a ball, and the boy in the background darkened or something. If that made sence. I hope it helps Smile

Actually you know, I was struggling with making the main idea just ONE idea. Originally it was just supposed to be me putting this idea I had as I read the book on paper, but soon I wanted to make it something, so I just put down all the ideas. Sp I guess all this confusion is actually just my fault at actually paying attention to what I was doing. I think I might do this one again and try to incorporate what you told me here. It really helped, and after a few reads, it DID in fact make sense!! Laughing

Yeah, the thing with pictures is to make it clear what the focus is, and why its the focus. Anything from a picture of a scruffy dog, to a few african kids playing with some toys, to an intense emotion of unease. If she is ment to feel unease, then someone that looks at the picture needs to be able to see the story of why for them to feel connected. Stalkers in the BG is good- they're freaky. You need to connect that to her Smile
