Talisman (Diary)

The first thing DB found in this world: a slightly damaged diary with some pages used, but smudged. From what little he could make of the owner's description of himself, it matched his own, but only his initials were clear.

DB now uses it to record everything about this world that he finds interesting and useful, by both writing and drawing.
