Bloodshade was found as a 'larva' baby under the full moon's glow, their highly religious family took them in as a sign from their Goddess, raised to follow in either of their paths (their father was a priest to this Goddess and their mother was a traveling healer) and to help others. Sadly, Bloodshade's family was taken from them too soon as they were merely 17 years old when the duo died in a raid. Scared and alone, Bloodshade sought out a nearby settlement of miners who took them in. They learned smiting from these underground people and after years of honing these skills, traveled with an adventuring party as a hire on hand smith.
