[#48] Happy Camping

"I'll go get some firewood!" Finley called out.

There was no response. But he could faintly hear the gentle thrumming of lo-fi beats from inside their humble little tent. Plum was evidently in the zone, and that zone was absolutely not in this reality right now. It had been a long day, and he wasn't going to bother once again. They hadn't been adventuring together that long, and he was... perhaps a little too worried about coming off as annoying. Or stupid. Or incompetent. Or- no. Whatever. Now he was just beating himself up for no reason. Finley lightly kicked the ground.

The slug ran his hand over his naturally moist head, and glanced around at the flora around him. A dirt path trailed to the side of them, but beyond that, it was all green. Bits of brown. Dark sky. Getting darker. He didn't want to stray too far from the tent and put her in danger, but nothing here bar a few measly twigs on the ground would do, and he couldn't come crawling back with THAT.

He took a single step.

He froze, as a low growl reverberated in the air. Followed by rustling. Something... had awoken.

I'm not very good at drawing scenes, so I'm keeping this art hidden shhhhh (tho if u see this, criticism woud be appreciated because man. i need to practice more.). Still, I wanted to draw SOMETHING with Plum, and this started off as a wholesome idea, and quickly turned into something more tense! Whoops lol!!!!
