Wow, I saw this and immediately I thought: this is of a HIGH calibre. The detailed patience paid to the outfit is wonderful. There's only two things that I could complain about XD : 1) the netting of the stocking seems a bit more careless compared to the dress, 2) might be better if the background could communicate with the character even more solidly. Otherwise, WOW.

Thank you so much for the lovely comment!
I'm actually surprised you think so well of this one - it's really not one of my own favourites, but more of my first shot at Photoshop. Your suggestions are both valid (though I would add that the hair needs more depth), however, I doubt I will ever revisit this piece to correct its many errors.

O.o Your first shot a photoshop? Geewheez.

      Do you have a tablet?

Not my first shot at a computer program, luv. I have a tablet now, yes. My first shot at a computer program (and many tries after) were all done by mouse and can be seen on page 13-14 of my gallery. One is "Requiescant en Pace"... and I think the other is called "At the Window" or something cheesy to that effect. I used the Gimp to draw them.

I see, the skills learned on Gimp transferred over to PS, yes?

Indeed - at least, most of them did. Mainly it was my first piece with a tablet, so I wanted to use photoshop because it has a good sensitivity thingy... At least, I -think- this one was done with a tablet. It's been so long, I may be misremembering.
