It's good to see people again for me too. It wasn't really a year off - I was working and doing textiles. I just had no scanner while I was gone (I sent your commission from there).

But I've been pretty good. How are you? I should be able to get some more drawing time in with being back in university rather than at work. I have more work area here at this house, and better lighting - so I don't have to sit for hours in an uncomfortable position straining my eyes in order to complete a drawing - you know?

Anyhow, I'm close to actually being finished this picture now, so I'm going to get back at it. It's so great to see notes from my friends again.

Actually, besides finishing my comic, I've been sick most of a year XD It's so sad. This winter has been very bad for me, and the comic gave me alot of health woes from stress. I love how this has turned out though! I can feel the nouveau feel to it- all it needs now is the earthy tones and it'll be poster perfect ^^ Welcome back anyways Glomp

Are you talking about the finished version, or this WIP?

I wish I could make posters, but I never get any requests for purchases, so I end up just losing money on them. I'm just not well known enough as an artist, I guess - but that's my own fault, for not self-pimping enough.

Again - I'm glad your better now. Hopefully you can get back on your feet and stop stressing so your body catches up to proper health. My best wishes to you, luv.

Finished also ^^ Posters are tricky things- They need to be the right size and price, and unless it's a cool design, people aren't likely to buy it off the net as they are in person. I go to cons to sell my posters. They sell well there cause people can take them immediately. They usually think twice if it needs to be couriered >.>

Yes, I agree completely. The trouble, then, is that I don't go to cons at all - or never have gone - so I will have to stick with my commissions, few and far between though they may be (of course, I've been out of service for the last year and a half, so I'm not complaining. Wink )
