I did kinda notice the same things you did with his arms being too scrawny compared to the rest of him after i finished it. As for the colours, I just plain suck at colour night scenes, but I'll mess with the brightness/contrast and see if something better comes up.

I like the idea of not putting the characters in the center for once. I might have to try that on my next peice.

I'm not great with coloring night scenes, either. An easy way to make the color more natural, I've found, is to make a layer over your color layer and color in the spots where the characters are in a dark blue shade then lower the opacity of that layer to your preference.
