Actually Yellow Roses symbolize jealousy and infidelity in european and north american culture as do marigolds and ferns, and the Fofo (another yellow petaled plant) symbolizes jealousy in West African culture... Both Yellow and green are colours that are supposed to symbolize jealousy, and white or green snakes are jealousy too...

Yellow-petalled flowers, you say? Fofos? Sounds good to me.

I'll look some up and perhaps get some progress done. Wink Thanks Mary-Ann!

Rgh. Can't find any references for the fofo. Perhaps I will do those roses again.

Yeah, it's hard to find reference for the Fofo. All I can find is the graphic art of one... sorry!
Mebbe you should go for the ferns and marigolds then, so as not to be too rosey? Altho roses do be pretty, ferns might be ok in a swampy sort of setting (I like that idea alot too!)

I figured out the scientific name and went from there - I've got a bit of fofo now. I think I'll be adding in vines and things as well, as per Arkillian's suggestion. Combinations are good! Big Smile
