Blending with the computer isn't cheating, it's just a different method, ducky. It can help when adding more contrast, too. I don't use it because... well... I don't really know why, actually. Force of habit?

That is true my dear. But, then I'd really be able to watch what I eat. 
Well, I have found it so much easier to blend my shades more effectively with the aid of the computer. So hopefully I can make some mahvelous work.
