I enjoyed reading this one. I like how the characters interact with each other, you can tell how much chemistry they have going on. (I hope that's the appropriate word). I also like how you write. One description that stood out to me was "her voice like the threat of nails on slate", I thought that was wonderful imagery for the ears.
Great job! Can't wait to see what comes next.
