Frostbite just thought it's very hot here, so he helped his friend to cool down with some nice snow. He's new to all this friendship thing. XD
Frostbite keeps his origin a secret anyway. If somebody finds out what he is, he might get in trouble. I don't think many ponies would want to hang out with a windigo. He also stole the body he currently inhabits and that's probably forbidden.

Pas (at least so far) isn't anything but straight up unicorn, especially since there's no built Umbrum lore so far, but it's a fun nod to his next-gen origins as a Shining Armor/Sombra cross. XD
