Iris Dunn
Iris was born July 21 in downtown Glasgow, Britain, though she and her mom would later move to America when she turned 10 after her parents divorced.
She and her mom have a Rapunzel-Mother Gothel relationship. She doesn't like people, but thrives around flora and wants to pursue a career in botany. She's very grumpy, blunt and basically too tired to care anymore. She plucks her own feathers out of stress and anxiety, but she's afraid of doctors so she won't go and get it properly treated.

The folds in the clothes look very realistic, well done!
I noticed that the linework in this piece is thicker in some places and thinner in others, but this doesn't look purposeful. This can happen by using a pen pressure sensitive drawing tool, but not purposefully varying pressure. We can use a tool that does not have pressure sensitivity, to achieve the same weight lines in all parts of the piece.
However, purposefully varying line width can add a lot of depth to a piece, and there are different styles and ways to go about this! Here's a small article about different types of lines in art and how to utilize them:

I encourage you to do your own research and study on linework as well! Looking at art pieces you like and observing how the artist used lines is a great place to start!

I really like your art! The linework is super pretty and the coloring is a lot better than what I've done in the past or even still do. Is there a specific tool or program you use? I actually draw on my phone with my finger since I'm too broke to get a proper drawing tablet and pencil lol. I'm willing to take any critique I can get!
I've done a looooot of art on my phone so I relate somewhat, but my phone came with a stylus that has made it a decent medium.
What program are you using now? My go to is clip studio paint, which I use both on my pc and phone. I believe the mobile version allows an hour of drawing for free per day before you have to pay for a monthly subscription. Before that I used ibis paint x for free on my phone, and it served me well for years.
As for specific drawing tools, I tend to use a lot of CSP's defaults right now. One of the default pens for linework (I don't remember the exact name off the top of my head,) the design pencil for sketching, and a few of the different paint brushes for coloring, tweaking the settings depending on how much I want the colors to blend. I will still use pen for coloring sometimes, if I want very sharp lines or points.
Do you mind if I try to draw your character? I've drawn very little furries and yours is so unique in the best sense of the word! I can't promise it'll look the best, but I can do my best.
I pulled up Ibis to play around and I really can't get a change in line width with my finger like I can with a stylus. If you can't get a stylus to help, you can vary line weight by changing the size of the drawing tool. Not the best or most convenient, but still workable.
