Argosh is of the Dark Elf race, and an orphan. He was found as an infant by a hunting party of wood elves, crying on the ground beside his slain parents. At first they intended to leave him there to die, but one of the hunters took pity on him and decided to take him home to their tribe, raising Argosh as his own.
Ever the outsider with his tribe, he found solace in the hunt with his father. He learned the ways of the wilds before he reached adolescence and became a hunter along with his father when he came of age.
One day, a mountain lion driven into a craze by some unknown disease attacked the tribe, wounding several of the hunters, including his father. Argosh took his father's bow and shot the cougar down, saving the village. He was sent out into the world to learn to be a more complete warrior, before he can return to the tribe to be its protector.
As a hunter, he is used to making his home in the wild, and is comfortable living in modest means. He is less comfortable in luxury, and tends to wear his hood up to conceal his identity when around other people.
Argosh enjoys quiet and nature.
