Nokt's Lavender Gaze

The full moon was a time of celebration, stryx wild and tame alike would take to the skies and perform to gain Nokt's favor and blessings in choosing a mate, and Azeryth was no different. Despite the slow falling snow and the clouds covering the moon, the dragon-like Tyto and his rider, Kira, took to the skies. Azeryth flew gracefully through the clouds, his four wings beating quietly as he climbed to greater altitudes in order to have enough air to pull the aerial acrobatic movements that the Tribute of Nokt required. Once high enough, Kira gave the signal, and Azeryth dove down, twisting through the night in an airborn dance. Catching the air in his feathers and wingtips, Azeryth turned to flip, and as his chest crested towards the sky, the clouds parted and the snow paused momentarily, the purple-tinted moon bearing Nokt's beautiful face appearing for the first time that night. As Azeryth finished his flip, he saw his feathers sparkling under the moonlight that now bathed his back in the soft purple hues. A determined smile broke on the tyto's face, his chest swelling with pride as his performance had been enough to get the undivided attention of Nokt's lavender gaze, which matched his feathers so well.
