Synth

Companion description: Synth was made by a south Asian/American organization that is in charge of capturing, rehabilitating, and releasing wounded marine animals.

As Trellia was captured due to a fatal injury she was taken to the facility of the organization. Project 'EGO' was started which built Trellia a new Fin prosthetic as well as a self-learning AI companion which has been named 'Synth'. He will guide and teach Trellia how to use her prosthetic as well as gathering information about her, the Sanhocho pod, and her species.

 

He has a component inside his body that is used to freeze and gather samples for the researchers, as well as a tracker, live feed cameras, thermal sensors, and microphones. On top of which he also possesses vocal cords and speakers which can play sound as well as generate new sounds, which means that Synth can learn other languages.

This drone keeps Trellia in check and helps her out in case her prosthetic is being problematic or if she is suffering from phantom pain, he also supports her through an emotional and physical protocol in case of high mental or physical distress. 

The 'EGO' project hopes to explore the oceans better as they have grown larger over the past 4000 years.
