scales came out really well in this. i like the changing patterns with it.

The scales on this came out gorgeous! I love how one can see some scales are multicolored, and the way they curve with the motion of the neck is fluid and elegant. Further, the scales don't over-complicate the piece, which can be difficult to pull of when going into so much detail

Depicting the background through hatching was a creative (and punny) choice, I enjoy it considerably. It makes the dragon really pop against it, and it leaves it up to some level of interpretation. I gotta say that I love seeing some dragon work coming from you, this is delightful to see!
