Finally done with the last art project of the semester~ @ A @
This the final project for my Styles and Concepts class which is called Art on a Grand Scale or Tea and Crumpets.

We had the choice of either doing art that would be used as a mural or something else large or doing something smaller scale for commerical use like lunch boxes, bags, etc. I went with a lunch set that would have a thermos, the lunch box, and a sandwich box. I've reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally been on this superhero kick so since Frostquake needed some more development I went with him for the design. This image is intended to be the very front part of one of those metal lunch boxes and the sides will be either solid blue, black, or mimic the icy background behind him. And of course the same image will be on the sandwich box and thermos~

I really did a lot with this one that I'd not tried before with some of my other digital stuff. For one, I did something different with the way I cel-shade and honestly I like it waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the way I used to do it. I also didn't colorize my lines, they're just plain black; which is something I don't usually do. For this though, it worked a lot better because it stands out more in certain areas. And yay perspective exageration! I originally photographed two friends in my class in this pose (god love you boys, I'm sorry you almost had to do the splits) to get the lighting and everything that I needed to work from. XD It was kind of awkward asking them to hold the pose in the middle of the hall and snap them from different angles, omgsorryIanandKai.

And I'm sure its pretty obvious Frost got a costume update! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! A lot of people mentioned that he looked like a ninja with his face mask and scarf so I decided to do a couple of concepts of ninja type armor for him. I'm actually pretty proud of myself considering armor and I don't make do together, and his turned out so well ajfsklfjkslfjkslfjkskl *loves* Now he really does like the ninja part which also gives me lots of fun ideas to work with as far as his backstory and such go~

Anyway, I'll totally shut up now. I should go to sleep or something. XD
