  O wait! This is created in Illustrator? Including the coloring? I used to use AI for coloring before I knew it was PS everyone's using. It was TOUGH: using the mesh tool to slowly control the shading and whatnot.

  Yeah, all Illustrator! Since I mostly do cel-shading, I like Illustrator a LOT better for colors. I like its lines better overall.
  
  On the rare occasions I do softer styles of shading, I definitely prefer Photoshop or Painter. To me, the mesh tool just isn't worth the hassle for anything other than pretty simple color variations and designs.
