I've never seen that anime so I know nothing about this character but I like his smirky expression.
I also like the way you did his hair. The ear is a bit small--generally the top of the ear should like up with top edge of the eye and the bottom of the ear should be line with the bottom of the nose.
Good job on the glasses--somehow I can never draw glasses without making them look like they're pasted to the person's face. ^_^
P.S. I see what you mean about sketching very lightly.
If you ever get a chance to, I'd watch it, but only if you like shonen-ai.
Soubi isn't really a smirker, when i drew this, I didn't anything about it either, I was simply given a tiny production sketch to work from. But it was enough to pique my interest in it, espeically when I saw other fanart.
You're right; now that I look at it, I did mess up on his ear. Oh well... *sighs* I doubt I even know what I did with the original sketch in order to fix it. (I have some like 500 art files on my comp, so trying to find a sketch that may have been done on comp paper is kind of hard) ^^;
Thanks! Glasses can be hard. The only other people I've drawn with glases, are Il Palazzo (another piece of gift art) & Tsukishiro Yuki. And I drew him at at an Oekai with mouse. XD I think i spent m,ore tiem trying to get his glasses to at least look round as I did trying to get them to look relatively the same size on the lenses. ^^;
I am very light when I sketch, after having a sketch book where normal pressure left imprints in the paper, which looks horrible when you color with pencil on top of it, I just learned to keep a light hand. It's crazy though when trying to scan in. ^^; if only I could retrain myself to draw darker.
Actually I really dislike shonen-ai which is why I've never watched it. I looked into to see what it was about but never watched any episodes, which is why I don't know any of the characters. ^_^
You wish you could train yourself so sketch darker and I wish I could train myself to sketch lighter. Maybe we should trade skills for a day. XD
Very pretty! I don't remember this one from dA... but then, it has been a while.
Incidently, I wanted to comment on your "happiest place on earth" pic, but for some reason Firefox crashes whenever I click the "Write a Critique" button on that page. >.<
So yeah, count this as a double comment: I love that other one, Sesshy's expression tickles me every time!
I'm gonna go fave it now... hopefully my browser will let me do that at least!

*laughs* that would be so much fun if we could do that!! Think of the possibilities!

Don't worry about it!
*laughs* I had fun with that one. I should shrink that down a bit & use it as my avi... I used it over at LJ when I had a journal over there. XD
Thanks for the fave on it! *glomp*
