These are two OCs of mine, the species is one I made up as well. They aren't in any sort of relationship, I promise, they're just really really close and Snow likes to cling to Pyre at odd times. They grew up basically siblings (there is no such thing as genetic birth with their species because of certain things to do with temperature that kill off any natural children, they're all test-tube babies).
The red-head is Pyre, the white-haired girl (she's not albino, that's just the coloring she has) is Snow. They get to pick their own names somewhere between ages 5 and 10, so most people in their species end up with that sort of name, especially if their caretaker was lax about that sort of thing. Usually they would have their wings attached, so the title is that because it's pretty rare for them to have their wings off.
