Birdy the Mighty

Birdy the Mighty/Tetsuwan Birdy is the property of Yuuki Masami.

This is a pic I did based on an obscure 4 part anime called Birdy the Mighty. It's actually pretty good, IMO. The series is about Birdy Cephon Altirra (The lady with the mutli-colored hair and...um...er...interesting outfit) and Tsutomu Senkawa, whose bodies are merged together as a result of the former's actions (While Birdy was in pursuit of a criminal, said criminal grabbed Tsutomu and threw him. Not realizing it's not the criminal, Birdy shocks Tsutomu latally and the merge was to save Tsutomu's live)

I was trying to make the character look like the character but still keep it in my art style. Hopefully, it worked. The robots she's fighting are called Arkezoids, which appear thoughout the series and are, quite frankly, cannon fodder.

This was originally done as a breather for me as I had lot of requests on deviantART I'd done and needed a brief break.  That and I spent a week at my aunt's and discovered a music video a fan had done using clip of the ainme.

This was inked with some pens and colored with colored pencils.
