Commission Information:

Rules
+ I will not take any requests that violate PG13 content. This means no sex scenes, no extreme violence, no drug use, no rape, no child pornography, etc.
+ I will not do anything involving devil worship. Period. This means no demons tearing apart people, no people sacrificing cats or whatever, no pentagrams, etc.
+ I will not do yaoi or yuri... I will not imply homosexual relationships, and I reserve the right to not allow any of my artwork, commissioned or not, to be used to promote either yaoi or yuri. Yeah yeah, you might be into it but no amount of money will convince me to touch on this topic. I will also (again) not to hentai. I do not support homosexuality, I don't hate people that do, but I refuse to include it in my artwork.
+ Tasteful nudity only! A woman laying on a bench eating pears nude is fine, a woman sitting or laying in a provocative pose is not. I also will not do full frontal male nudity.
+ I can do anthros but I will not make them into smutty furries.
+ I can do fanart but I refuse to do any slash relationships. This goes hand-in-hand with the no yaoi/yuri rule.
+ When requesting animal art specify if you wanted it in Disneyish animal style or my normal semi-anime style.
+ I reserve the right to refuse my services to anyone without justification.

Different Styles
+ Classic Style: This is my normal style. It's not really anime but it's far from realism or "American cartoons". It's just kind of... my style. This is the style I use to do 80% of my artwork. Browse my gallery to grow familiar with my style before choosing to commission me. I'm capable of traditional and digital work.

+ Disney Style: This mainly applies to animals only. I've not gotten down how to do the people styles from -any- of the movies quite yet. Lion king's probably my strongest point, I do horses kind of how they're seen on Mulan. There is definite influence of my own style still seen in Disney style. I have examples in my deviantart gallery as well.

Ordering
1: Before you order anything from me, familiarize yourself with my style. I cannot stress this enough. Browsing an artist’s gallery before a commission is a very good idea. You can see what I’m capable of, what my style is like, how well I can work with anatomy, backgrounds, and what kind of content I’m strongest at. For instance, if you want a robot you likely won’t see one in my gallery. This means I’m horrible with robots and it might be better to find someone that has quite a few in their gallery.

2: Read over the rules and make sure you understand them. If I get a request for a commission that violates one of my rules I will not accept it.

3: I will expect payment before I start on a piece. I can, if you want, accept a partial payment for anything above a sketch. This means you pay me a percentage (most often times I’ll request half) and pay the rest after you approve the progress sketch. Once you’ve given me approval I will not finish the artwork until I have been paid in full.

4: If all of the above and the rules are agreeable to you then feel free to contact me with your commission request. You may e-mail me at [email protected], send me an instant message over aim at Tigryph, or send me a private message through this gallery. We can discuss what you’d like, I’ll confirm the price with you, and from there we can work out what your commission will be like. BE SURE TO PROOF READ YOUR INFO! There’s nothing more frustrating than a typo that costs both of us time in getting the artwork you want.

5: Before I start a commission I’ll need all the information I can get from you on what you want. This includes references (as many as you have), descriptions, some info on the character(s) you want done, whether or not you want a background included or a boarder, what kind of commission you want, if you want it colored or not, inked or not, etc. I’ll contact you if I need any information.

6: Anything that’s past a sketch I will show a progress sketch of before moving on to finalize a piece. I will not continue working on the piece until you have given me approval on the sketch. This keeps you from getting a finished artwork that you don’t like and this saves me from having to keep re-working it.

7: Once the artwork is completed and you’ve given approval I will not change it or work on it father. Once approval is given it’s done. If you want the original of the artwork be sure to let me know and include a $5 shipping fee for the packaging and postage. I do not, however, have prints available at this time.

FAQ

Q: How long does it normally take you to do a piece?
A: It really depends. First of all, if it's a sketch that can take anywhere between an hour of receiving the request to a few days depending on how complex it is. If it's lineart it normally takes me a day to a week depending on the complexity of the commission. If it's a colored piece it can take anywhere between a week to three weeks- again, depending on the commission. I work very quickly with animals. I can get through a plain colored picture in about two days. I'm horribly slow with backgrounds at the moment. I try not to use cheats like photoshop brushes and I try to pay very close attention to the detail of a pic. I will not show you a finished work before I'm happy with the quality.

Q: How do we pay you?
A: I prefer Paypal. You can get my paypal info by contacting me via Note, e-mail, or IMing me at Tigryph on aim. Checks are accepted as well through the mail though I try to discourage it.

Q: If I order a sketch or lineart from you, can I color it?
A: Yes, though I really do try to discourage it. It's too easy to take something completely innocent and alter it.

Q: If I commission you to do a character picture for me, how come I can't use it to promote yaoi/yuri/hentai? Even if it's just their face on a banner for an rp forum?
A: Because I reserved the right to disallow the artwork to be altered for that purpose for one, and secondly because I do NOT want my artwork associated with those topics.

Q: What's wrong with yaoi/yuri? How come you don't take those requests?
A: That's my personal preference. If you simply MUST have it then I promise you that MOST of the people on this site accepting commissions will gladly do it for you. You won't see any of it out of me and again, no amount of money will convince me to do so.

Q: I'm from gaia and I want to commission you out of one of your shops! Where'd the prices go?'
A: ThalionKoi.deviantart.com decided to migrate all my gaia-related artwork and information concerning the artwork to a separate account.

Q: Do you design characters?
A: I can, yes. Just give me an idea of what you're looking for. It'll run at normal commission price.

Q: Do you do anthros?
A: Yes I do, but they will always be appropriate. I won't draw any pornographic content.

Any more questions? Feel free to contact me.
