Sir Calum! She's a wandering ex-knight looking for her lady. 

Originally summoned as the dove familiar of a forest witch looking for some companionship, Calum is a hopeless (or more accurately, hopeful) romantic celestial spirit who is trying to find her way home to her "lady". She bonded to her in their time together and fell deeply in love with the witch. Through a magic well she was granted her greatest wish, to be given a human(oid) form so that she and her lady could live out their days in domestic bliss. 

When faced with a massive, glowing, celestial humanoid where her dove once was and given no warning, the witch panicked- banishing her to another land with a powerful spell. Sir Calum wanders the land looking for portals to jump through so that she may some day  find her way home, knowing that it surely was just a misunderstanding, and that if she just explains herself thoroughly enough her witch will understand and accept her with open arms!

She is optimistic, open-minded, and heartfelt, but also prone to moodiness and anger when frustrated. 

(Sir Calum is what the witch called her because she thought it was cute how protective her dove familiar was of her. Other potential names- Darling, No Dove, Stop That, Come here!, and Drop It. This character came to be through a d&d game, as we learned that familiars that you summon are not actually animals but spirits pulled from a different plane made to look like animals, which made a bonded-dove suddenly a much more sad idea.)
