The general of the Astryan military, Jonah may look intimidating, but he's really just a big ol softie and also the group dad.

He was born and raised in the Brotherhood of Monstria, long before the seven Achanan kingdoms were merged. Growing up, he originally wanted to be an english teacher, but was forced to abandon that goal when he was 19. Government recruiters came looking for soldiers, and as the oldest able-bodied man in his household, Jonah was taken.

He endured 4 years of being forced to fight, before he finally couldn't take it anymore. He tracked down the newly crowned King Valence of Pravia, and offered to betray Monstria and help end the war. With help from the Astryan Empire, and Jonah acting as a spy, Praivia won the war, but became a part of Astrya in the process.

Now, 12 years later, reunited with his family and happily married to his beloved husband Xander, things are finally looking up...... for now, anyway.
