Before a stryx is permitted to breed, it must prove its merit by completing three sacred rights, the Tributes to the gods of Wyvera, Father Daius, Mother Nokt and the great star god, Galyx! Only then will they receive the Eye of Galyx, the symbol of their worthiness to mate and bear children.
Steps
1. Using the form at the bottom of the page, submit each of your training entries for AP counting.
General Rules
At maximum, you may have up to 3 Stryx in the entries receiving their Eye of Galyx. However, you can have less than 3 if you wish.
Additional stryxes past 3 may be included, but they will not receive their Eye of Galyx and should be marked in the work's description as not receiving the Eye of Galyx.
Tributes require a Witness, either a rider or another stryx. A stryx may not earn its Eye of Galyx while acting as a Witness to another stryx which is completing a Tribute; a Witnessing stryx may only count for AP.
You can not re-use or recolor Tribute images! All Tribute entries must be original.
Tributes cannot count as any other activity entry. Tributes have to show that you have put more effort into them. We will be going off of the rest of your gallery to see. This applies to ALL stryx in the entry.
You may choose ANY 3 of the prompts below to earn their EoGs in any combination as long as 3 prompts are fulfilled.
Traditional: 1 Tribute each to Daius, Galyx, & Nokt
Acolyte: 3 Tributes to a single deity
Agnostic: 3 Voidrae Tributes
Wandering Path: any other combination
Requirements:
Visual art: Cleanly lined full body with color, semi-complex background, with shading. Along with depicting your Stryx and their Witness, as well as anything following the prompt.
Literature: Each entry must be at least 1000 words long with all characters equally participating.
Tributes must all be completed before your stryx can breed!
Inbred stryx who suffer from Crippled Wings or Brittle Bone Syndrome can not complete Tributes, and can not be bred!
If your stryx is Blind it must complete Blindness Training BEFORE it can participate in Tributes!
Tribute to Daius
Daius is the bringer of light, giving warmth and beauty to the world. To please the sun god, one has to shine bright as the sun, and demonstrate its strength and courage. Only then shall their tribute be accepted.
Daius Prompt: Competition
The most traditional form of tribute to Daius takes the form of a competition. Stryx of all backgrounds compete to demonstrate their ability to overcome fear and adversity, in an attempt to rise to the top and prove their worth to the sun god. Give it your all and outshine your foes, for only then will Daius give you his blessing.
Requirements: Depict your stryx in a competition. Could be racing, weight-pulling, log or boulder tossing, sparring … pie-eating. Be creative!

Daius Prompt: Endurance
Strength can take many forms. And while countless stories depict glorious heroes overcoming all sorts of challenges, Daius’s teachings do not belittle the valor required to vanquish one’s greatest enemy: themselves. This form of tribute tests one’s endurance as well as determination. It seeks to evaluate just how much they can take before giving up. Under the watchful eye of Daius, it is time to show everything you’ve got!
Requirements: Depict your stryx making their way through a maze or an obstacle course, carrying a heavy pack, or pulling a vehicle (travois, sled, wagon, ship, airship, etc.).

Daius Prompt: Guardian
Daius’ flame can blind and burn, yes, but his followers know that above all, it is meant to nurture and protect. Nothing is more worthy in the eye of Daius than the strong lending their strength to the weak. To honor the sun god, one has to demonstrate their ability to care for other and protect them from harm. Show to the god how you too, can help others find safety and grow under your nurturing wings.
Requirements: Depict your stryx acting as a guardian. They may be guarding a group of riders or other stryx, a herd of livestock, a farm, a caravan, a ship, a village ... The stryx can simply be on watch with a threat shown somewhere in the background or can be depicted defending against an attack.

Tribute to Nokt
Nokt Prompt: An Impressive Display
The earliest forms of tributes to Nokt have always consisted in artful shows of skills and technique. An attempt to delight the goddess with the culmination of all the efforts needed to perfect such displays and make something truly beautiful. Under Her pale, it is time to show the goddess something worthy of her blessing.
Requirements: Depict your stryx showing off. Could be a dance, acrobatics, courtship display of fancy feathers, displaying their awesome horde of shinies, or other actions meant to impress.

Nokt Prompt: Caretaker
Nokt’s love for this world goes beyond flashy displays of skill. She is particularly fond of the mundane, and shows great appreciation of simple displays of care and affection to a stryx’s close ones. After all, isn’t the tenderness of pure love more beautiful than any acrobatics could ever hope to be?
Requirements: Depict your stryx caring for their mate, offspring, rider, or their larger community. The stryx could be teaching young ones to hunt or fly, or tending to a sick or injured friend.

Nokt Prompt: Rest
It is said by Nokt’s followers that dreams are the domain of their goddess. And that as weary stryx close their eyes, their spirit fly closer to the goddess than ever before. A communion with the moon. It is said that those in perfect harmony with her teachings can even obtain her blessing by reaching out in their sleep. Meeting the moon goddess in one’s sleep is a process that requires to be prepared, but it is certainly worth a try.
Requirements: Depict your stryx settling down after a long day. What is their bedtime routine? What do they dream about?

Tribute to Galyx
Galyx is the moth divinity of the stars and universe, the all-seeing architect of everything. Mysterious in their ways, not a lot is known of the divinity. Even if it was the case, impressing the being behind all of creation would probably be a feat in itself. As such, rather than relying on exploits of strength or acrobatics, followers of the divinity traditionally prefer to simply display their respect for Galyx and all of Their creation.
Galyx Prompt: Offering
Thought to be as old as the universe itself, the Standing Stones stand as proud as ever, defying time itself. These stones have seen countless rituals throughout the ages, all dedicated to Galyx. A tradition as old as time. The exact ritual changed through the ages, reflecting the person behind it rather than following strict rules. However it always featured an offering to the divinity. A mark of respect left as a tribute to Galyx. As the sacred stones stand before you, you prepare your own offering, hoping for Galyx’s blessing.

Galyx Prompt: Feast
Every year, in most of Wyvera, it is customary to dedicate a large feast to Galyx, as a way to express gratitude toward the many gifts the divinity bestowed throughout the year. Though it is possible to make one alone, the feast is usually an event where people gather to bring their very best recipes, a place to outdo yourself and show your gratitude to the divinity. Perhaps, if the feast is deemed enough, Galyx themselves will reward your efforts with their blessing.
Requirements: Depict your stryx preparing for or participating in the Feast of Galyx. Show them hunting an impressive creature to eat, foraging for a rare delicacy, cooking for the feast, or enjoying the feast itself.

Galyx Prompt: Architect
To make a part of the world your own. This is considered to be the closest one can commune with Galyx. A sacred rite of passage in one’s life. As one uses the multiple gifts this world has to offer and rearrange them to make a home to themselves, they are reshaping the world itself. They are making something new and are following in the footsteps of the grand architect of all things. Just like Galyx once made a home for themselves by manifesting all of creation, it is now time for your stryx to show the extent of their creativity.
Requirements: Depict your stryx constructing a home. This can be a nest for wild stryx, a stable or aviary for tame stryx, or a building for people.

Tribute to the Void
To walk your own path in life requires dedication and determination. To live free of the influence of the gods is to have your will, strength and knowledge constantly challenged. Voidrae trials are not in place to impress a god, but rather to prove that you do not fear the void. That you embrace its uncertainty and are willing to forge your own destiny.
Voidrae Prompt: Exploration
Curiosity is the cornerstone of any good Voidrae. The world is full of undiscovered wonders, each more marvelous and intriguing than the last. Only by exploring can the Voidrae learn more about the world we live in, and act accordingly. It is now your turn to challenge your perception of the world. Who knows what discoveries await?
Requirements: Depict your stryx exploring. They could be searching through an archaeological site and cataloging the artifacts they find, on an adventure seeking treasure, embarking on a trade expedition, or visiting another land as a tourist.

Voidrae Prompt: Technology
Exploring the world isn't the only way to make new discoveries. Some answers can only be revealed by looking deeply into the roots of a problem and inventing new and novel solutions to what remains unsolved. Researching, tinkering, crafting... These are valiant talents that will benefit any Voidrae in their journey. Prove that you too have what it takes to approach the world in your very own way.
Requirements: Depict your stryx studying books, figuring out an old map, or learning how to tinker or build. a form of tech. This can also be a stryx teaching younger ones on how to do these things as well.

Voidrae Prompt: Arcane Arts
Out of all the pursuit a Voidrae can invest themselves into, the arcane arts are a noble one. After all, few things embody the Voidrae’s philosophy like bending reality to your will through your very own means. Magic is an expression of one’s true desires, a way to reject the status quo and challenge your perception of the possible. A powerful tool for anyone looking to walk their own path. Establish your mastery of the arcane arts and show what you can do.
Requirements: Depict your stryx practicing magic. This can be using their elemental breath, brewing potions, creating illusions, or inscribing an object with magic runes, and even performing stage magic or sleight of hand tricks.

The Eye of Galyx:
It is a symbol of Galyx's approval and blessing, so that your Stryx may now pass on its legacy and breed.
For completing the set you will also earn +30AP to your stryx. This will be rewarded when you redeem the Eye of Galyx!
