The appearance of this stryxess was believed to be an omen to the beginning of the autumnal weather. It's been told that with one stroke of her wings, this large harpia can change the very greenery of her surroundings into marigolds, reds, and yellows. It's also been said that near the end of the harvest year, and as a sign of the oncoming wintry months, one can spot her gliding through the golden wood, trailing fallen leaves.

Farmers would often times set up watch parties in the closest wood, for even just a glimpse of this autumn stryx is said to bring about a healthy and prolific harvest.
