Racing alias: Nimbus, #600

A retired stryx race mount, Finn was once a champion racer in his prime. He eventually got into a fatal crash, but not for him. He suffered a broken wing and ribs, as well as numerous bruises and cuts, but his jockey wasn't so lucky. They were killed in the accident, forcing Finn to retire, wondering if it could've been avoided.

That was the breaking point for SRI (Stryx Racing International), which ended up closing its race courses for a few months while the sport of stryx racing was re-evaluated for any flaws in its rules and requirements, as well as adding new ones to ensure safety.

Once Finn saw all the new regulations put in place and safety equipment required, he felt cheated. They knew something like this would happen, but they didn't care, operating under the pretense that it wouldn't happen. Not to mention how expensive the sport had become in his absence. Now it was simply a sport for rich individuals with nothing better to do. Even though he'd recovered well enough to return, he chose not to.

Finn is generally a nice stryx, merely a vagrant by choice, but he manages to upkeep a positive public image, even after his career as a racer was over.

But on the inside, he's a mess. He still takes the blame for the incident, the death of his jockey, and beats himself up over it constantly. He's always mulling over how he could've done something different, avoided that crash, kept them alive. He's not sure he'll ever be able to forgive himself.
